Honey Lollipops

These honey suckers are perfect sweet treat, and they also work wonders on sore throats. Try adding a 1/2 tsp of flavoring to spice things up, we suggest lemon juice or cinnamon. 

INGREDIENTS / MATERIALS

1/2- 1 c Honey - Light Amber recommended 

1/2 tsp. lemon juice or ground cinnamon (optional)

Candy thermometer

20 sucker sticks laid out evenly over a non-stick surface

DIRECTIONS

Heat honey in a saucepan and check periodically with candy thermometer. When the honey reaches 300 degrees F, stir in flavoring of your choice, and spoon small amounts of the mixture onto each sucker stick, making sure to avoid overlapping. Let cool until candies are completely hardened. Store in plastic treat bags or in a mason jar separating the lollipops with wax paper. Enjoy!
